  1. Beautiful pictures. I wish we had this lovely selection over here in the U.S. (California). I just read that you worked in Tokyo. My prayers go out to you and your family while you endure such a hard time!

  2. Thank you, Christina. I really appreciate your heart-warming comment :)

  3. I really enjoyed looking at all of these photos. You have helped me tremendously in gathering information about Japanese confectionary. I hope you wouldn’t mind if I listed you as a resource in a book I’m writing?

  4. Sorry for being late for approving your comments (I was bothered by so much spam comments…)
I’m very happy to hear you’d like to add my blog as the resource of your book! Please feel free.
If you don’t mind, please let me know about your book when it was published! I’m just curious.

  5. Love these sweets we have just had some and they are amazing. I wish we could buy them in Australia.

  6. Yesterday I went to an event called “Wagashi: Japanese Traditional Confectionery Lecture and Demonstration” with confectioners from Japan – Noriyuki Myojin, Keisuke Yoshihashi, and Naoya Koizumi. I got curious about it that I tries searching the net. I’m glad I stumbled upon your website! Keep on posting beautiful pictures and brief descriptions about it :)

  7. I also got curious and googled it, looks this is closest to the event you mentioned.
